Our Pre-Kindergarten program is for our four-year-olds.
The goal of our Pre-Kindergarten program is to ensure Kindergarten readiness socially and academically. In order to make the academic transition to our Private Kindergarten program more successful, Oak Brook School Allen utilizes the Frog Street curriculum.
Frog Street Pre-K is a comprehensive program designed to meet the needs of diverse learners while supporting 10 learning domains. Key learning domains are woven into every aspect of Frog Street Pre-K. Integrated STEAM projects promote problem-solving and beginning coding skills. Tools for a strong social-emotional foundation are provided through the Conscious Discipline technique integrated within Frog Street. We are happy to offer an engaging, interactive program that celebrates the joy of learning while children travel down the road to success!
For a change of scenery and learning environments, your four-year-old will visit their respective outside playground and gymnasium twice per day. Additionally, our Pre-Kindergarten programs will visit specials classes (Spanish, Music and STEAM classes). These are enriching environments that will further stimulate learning.
