This week we were able to see the acrobatic work of some amazing kids! The Dallas Cirque did a great job including the audience in their performance. They got us out of our chairs dancing and moving all around. All the children from Oak Brook were simply in awe as they watched the show. Thank you Dallas Cirque for a terrific day.

Our School age program wrote, directed, and starred in their own puppet shows last Friday! Children created sock puppets , and intertwined the weekly curriculum summer theme of ” Skiing/Mountains” into their storytelling! We loved their creativity! Great job explorers!

Today, we had a school wide parade to celebrate America’s birthday! The children created “Firecracker” and other festive hats and decorations for the event. The parade concluded with the children doing the “Pledge of Allegiance” and listening to the National Anthem. Happy fourth of July Oak Brook School !
A huge thank you to Plano Dance Theater for coming in today to teach us some new moves. The team of 3 were magnificent and even allowed the children to put on mini performances for the staff! We are so excited to get the opportunity to work with them in the future.
